15 Months Old!

Alexa is now 15 months old and had her check up today. Here are her stats:
Weight: 48th %tile
Height: 82nd %tile
Head: 80th %tile

She got two of her molars in on the top just this past Sunday and the doc said that the bottom ones are soon to follow. The poor girl had to get 4 shots today too.

The doctor also said that Alexa has the vocabulary of a two year old and that she is very advanced for age. I was pretty proud of that. Here are some of the words that Alexa not only can say but she knows the meaning of them: Cheese, tickle-tickle, please, dance, ball, balloon, blocks, open, car, bread, bike, baby, cereal, all done, no more, walk, NO, yes, Amen (while folding her arms), help, up, shoes, socks, book, more, eat, snack, hat, eye, nose, sock, shoe, mom, dad, grandma (sounds more like monkey sometimes), grandpa (pa pa), bird, kitty, dog, banana, milk, monkey, bear, meow, counts to 3 (even though sometimes 2 and 3 sound a lot alike), sings her ABC's (as.... "A, B, A, B, A, B - she kind of gets the tone right. haha) hmmmm there are a lot more but I can't think. I'll add them as I hear them. She is also very good at repeating a lot of words but she doesn't know what they all mean.

She is a little smarty pants and is really fun right now. She is finally warming up to people (other than relatives) and doesn't get upset if they try to hold her. Although she usually won't show off her talking and signing skills for too many people.

Here are a few of the things that she does that I love:
Says cheese when I take a pix
Talks and giggles in her sleep (my absolute favorite)
Wakes up and says, "ma ma, da da" first thing in the morning in a sweet voice letting us know that she is awake
Tries to do a front roll
Says Woha any time she trips or we hit a bump in the car or anything jolting
Giggles like a hyena
Likes to play hide and seek and says "Shh, Shh" while she is searching for me
She loves to read her books and LOVES her lamb that her uncle Ray & aunt Kathy gave her!
