Happy Easter (belated).
I am obviously terrible about keeping this up to date but I made a goal to be better and write info weekly.
Easter was so fun. My fabulous brother Chris came into town to help Greg install our sprinkling system in the back yard. He is SO great and always willing to help. We REALLY appreciate his expertise.
Easter Sunday was fun. After church we let Alexa search for her eggs. Okay... we handed her a basket full of eggs and goodies. She loved her farm animal book and especially loved the bubbles. She couldn't figure out where they would disappear to though. She had a really confused look on her face.
She FINALLY started to move around on her own a few weeks ago. She still isn't "crawling" but she does the military crawl with her belly on the floor.
She still loves to walk and is now brave enough to walk holding only one hand instead of 2.
We take a walk daily about 20 min before Greg gets home to meet him in the drive way. She gets so excited when she sees his car turn the corner onto our street. She is a daddy's girl for sure.
Her newest thing is to try to copy our words and sounds. Her favorite book is called "Where's my Mommy?". It is about a crocodile who is searching for his mommy. He comes across a lot of different animals on his way. He comes to an elephant who makes a noise of BLLUUEEE. Every time I say it she says BOOOOOO. When I roar like the tiger she then copies and growls. It is great.
