"'T' as in Troy"

Do we all remember Alexa's obsession with "Troy" from High School Musical, aka Zac Efron? It started around the age of 3 and she still loves him. She has a heart shaped silky pillow on her bed with his face on it, a Troy doll, HSM toys, books accessories etc etc etc.

Yesterday morning around 7:30 am we get a call from my brother Chris, the flight attendant for Continental/United Airlines. He asked who Alexa's boyfriend was, although she claims to have several boyfriends my first response was Troy/Zac.

Chris was preparing the plane for passengers to board, they were headed to Hawaii. He had been reviewing the manifest with the list of passengers and this is what he saw:

I told Alexa and she FREAKED. Started acting all sorts of silly shouting "Oh My Gosh" over and over and over again. She asked where they were going and why. I said Hawaii for Thanksgiving. She ran to her room and grabbed her backpack which she started filling with clothes and her swimming suit. She was determined to go to Hawaii for Thanksgiving with Zac and uncle Chris.

I don't remember if I posted about the Croup ER story from 2009 but I'll do a recap here. I took Alexa around midnight to the ER when she was 3 1/2 - ish. She was watching HSM 3 in the car. During the credits "Troy" kissed "Gabriella" alexa FREAKED. She started to cry and said "... but I thought I was Troys Girlfriend?" she was devastated.

While Chris was delivering the Ice Cream for the desert service on his flight yesterday, he told Zac, "I hope you know that you make little girls cry." Zac laughed and asked what in the world he was talking about. Chris told the story above. Zac's first reply was, "Oh no, is she okay? Can I send her a get well card"? Chris explained that it was a minor thing a year ago and she was fine. He then asked what he could send back for Alexa. Autograph, picture etc. I had told Chris to take a pix of him with Zac if possible. Zac immediately offered to go to the Galley of the plane and do a photo shoot with Chris, Chirs' girlfriend Lynn and himself. They took several pictures and Chris said that he is one of the nicest "young men" that he has ever met. Zac signed some autographs and since he didn't have anything on him that he could send back for Alexa he sent the pen he used to sign the autograph.

Before he got off the plane in Hawaii Zac said to Chris, "Tell Alexa that she is my girlfriend now!"

Alexa keeps begging to see this picture. She has also asked several times for me to call Chris so I could talk to Zac. She decided that she is too shy but wants me to do the talking! :)
