She is LOVING that she knows how to read now. She thinks that she is SO cool and tries very hard to make her own books and spell words any time possible. She is constantly asking me what words on signs say or what "SWXTV" spells. Nothing, I tell her but.... "SWEET" spells sweet. Is usually near my response.
Each week at school she gets her very own specified reading day and alone time to read with her teacher. Her day is Friday and it is by far the best school day of the week. She can not wait for reading day. Each Friday she comes home with a new book only if she has mastered the previous weeks book. So far she has "mastered" the previous book each reading day.

Awesome Alexa!! What's funny is I was just about to do a similar post about Jeffrey and how much he is loving learning how to read. It's so fun to see how much they learn each day.
