Yesterday we took the kids to the SLC Temple. It was RIDICULOUSLY hot. We parked at the Gateway so the kids could ride on "the train" aka Trax. We took them over to the Temple and ended up parking ourselves on the grass for about an hour so we could cool off in the shade. Grandma Judy met us there after work and came to dinner with us afterwards. In Sunbeams on Sunday I taught the kids about the Temple and we talked a little about Moroni on top. Alexa came to class with me and it was fun to see her connect the lesson to what she saw at the Temple.
Maya and Alexa are SO goofy. Alexa totally copies Maya and her "diva" posing. So funny.
And then there is Gavin in all of his Glory. Yes, he was in just a onesie AT THE TEMPLE of all places. After spilling almost an entire glass of water on his clothes, I took them off to dry and then I re-dressed him. How embarrassing.
