Birthday week is over. When I was expecting Gavin I HATED that he and Alexa would have birthdays so close together. Celebrating this past week wasn't too bad though.
I do wish that Gavin's birthday would have been mid-week so that they could have each had their own day and then the big parties but really, he could have cared less.
Last Saturday we did the Jepson bash out at Fred & Judy's. They have the pool so we decided that all of the kids would like that the most. Alexa had a blast as always with her cousins. She feels like such a big girl with them because they are all so much older than her. She even jumped off the extra tall diving board because Bailey did.
Gavin and I headed to the pool a little later. He had the time of his life. He loves his baths so of course he loved the pool. He was splashing like crazy and giggling the whole time.
On Sunday it was party time at the Chazen's. We do a monthly party out there for all of the birthday's so the kids celebrated with Aiden (who has the same bday as Alexa), Michael and Grandma Bonnie. It is always so fun to get the "kids" cakes but no one really eats them. This year I decided that I would get a mini-cake for each kid so that they could have the cake that they wanted and 90% of it wouldn't go down the disposal. Alexa and Gavin each got one on Saturday (Mickey & Friends for Gav, Belle for Alexa) and another on Sunday (Cars for G, Tink for A & Thomas for Aiden). They all turned out so cute.
The parties were so fun and the kids had a great time! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
