Today I have to say a HUGE bummer!
We have been on a 2 1/2 hour block for church since we lived out here in Queen Creek, AZ. There was too much growth and too many wards in each building to let us all have the regular 3 hour schedule. So lucky us, we got the 2 1/2 hour block.
Last week we had an emergency Stake Conference where we added 2 new stakes for the area. Today in Sacrament it was announced that we were going back to the 3 hour schedule! BUMMER! I am NOT complaining, I just really loved the shortened schedule. And really, who doesn't need some extra spiritual time? Hopefully we can all remember how to stay reverent that long. :)

WHAT???? I guess that is what we miss when we miss Sacrament meeting, wow that is going to be hard to get used to again. Thanks for the info, how soon do we start?
hahahhah...I shouldn't laugh. The new building around the corner is FLYING up and once it's done, they'll split 2 more wards, but I also think it'll move us back to 3! (I think we have til summer though!)
i love your blog! I need to check out the Cullen family one...but I'm kind of bummed for 3 hr church, too! :D I'm so used to shorter church...we've been so pampered!
Okay, so at first i wasn't thrilled about the 3 hour block. Right through lunch time???? Great! After thinking about the positives though, i must say it will be good. At least we can actually make announcements in Relief Society now. :)
