This past week we were in Utah. Alexa & I went on Tuesday and Greg met us on Thursday night. I had the STARS National Competition and Greg wanted to play with the boys. I owe Greg's mom big time for allowing me to pawn my child off on her for 4 days. She is a saint. I was gone 1/2 day on Wednesday & Thursday and from 7-9 on Friday & Saturday. Greg was fly fishing all day Friday and he took his dad golfing on Saturday for Fathers Day.
Alexa thrives when she is in Utah. She gets so much attention and learns a lot from playing with her cousins. She has been walking assisted for nearly 6 months. She has been walking from person to person for about 3 months but has been scared to take off on her own. I think this Utah trip was just what she needed to build her confidence. Wanting to run around with her cousins was just what she needed to take off on her own.
Now we are home and she is a walking wild woman. She goes from one end of the house to the other. Then from her bedroom to ours. She is loving it. Here is a little video I took this morning. Please ignore her wild hair and our suitcases all over the floor. Hopefully today will be a clean up day! Or maybe we'll just be lazy, after this LONG weekend I surely deserve a break. Thanks Lynn for watching Alexa, we owe you BIG TIME! xoxo
