Happy 1st Birthday Alexa!

Getting Ready For The Trip!..I'm Facing Front, YAHOO!

Build A Bear.........................The Cake

Blowing Out The Candle!

We spent a fun long weekend in Utah for Alexa's 1st birthday. It was a great time and so much fun watching her interact with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Thursday we arrived in the afternoon then had dinner and settled down at Greg's parents. Friday the 18th was Alexa Birthday! Alexa spent the day with her grandma while I shopped with Shannon. Friday night we took Alexa to Build A Bear for her Birthday, she made a bunny named Rhonda Rabbit. We then went to Red Robin for dinner with Lynn, Dave, Michael & Shannon.

Saturday Greg & Dave played in a golf tournament and took 2nd place. Alexa and I went to breakfast at Tara's house That night we had a party at my brother Jim's house with Austin, Molly, Sierra, Jim & Di. We had Hires Pizza, yum! Molly is running for Student Counsil at school and we helped make her campaign posters and buttons to hand out to the kids at school.

Sunday was party day with Greg's family. Grandma & Grandpa Jepson came too! Alexa was spoiled by all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. She received some darling clothes books and toys! She loved it all but was pooped by the end of the night. She was falling asleep way before bedtime but was trying really hard not to. She finally crashed in her grandma's arms. Lynn loved it and I am sure Alexa did too!

Today Alexa had her 1 year doctors appointment. She weighs in at 20lbs which is only in the 34th %tile. I was sure she was much bigger than that. She has gone way down, in February she was in the 50th %tile for weight. She is also 30.25" tall which is just over the 85th %tile and she still has a pretty large head in the 84th %tile. The doc told us that we could switch her to whole milk and put her facing forward in her car seat (we already did that last week and she loves it.) She can now eat pretty much anything except things that she can choke on including popcorn, large chunks of food, grapes, nuts etc. But almost anything else is a go! I am nervous to have to plan her meals each day, formula was so easy! :)
