This weekend I was in California for what else but STARS! I am lucky enough to have Greg who was able to take work off Friday and have a "Daddy Daughter Weekend". Each day I would call and it was so fun to hear Alexa babble on and on to me. I am sure she was explaining the fun things that she was doing with her dad.
Friday the went out for lunch and dinner and Saturday they adventured to the Zoo. Greg said that she loved it, especially the petting zoo. She would run up to the goats and sheep as fast as she could, stop right in front of their face and stare. She didn't really want to touch them but she would just stare them in the face. She liked the monkeys and the birds a lot too! She wouldn't sit in her stroller, she was too excited so Greg carried her through the entire zoo.
Sunday they relaxed and waited for my flight to come in. I was supposed to land around 11am but due to weather they had to keep 1/2 of the people and most of the luggage off the flight for weight restrictions. They begged for volunteers to stay and receive a free round trip ticket and take the next flight. I ended up taking their offer and sitting at the Burbank airport for 5 hours. Luckily I have my computer and you get to read this fun post because of it! :) I also got a first class seat on the next flight, that is a bonus !
