Here are two cute things that I got from Alexa for Mothers Day. She made them at school as well as a plant that they grew for a few weeks in class. They also had a special program that they prepared for several weeks. Alexa would never sing the songs to me because it was supposed to be a surprise. It was really cute.
Mothers Day itself was relaxing and fun. I got a special breakfast made by the kids and two great gifts. I especially loved my new shoes for the gym. My old ones were at least 5 years old and went hiking and kayaking with me through the terrain of Kauai a few years back. They were trashed. Alexa sang in church with the primary kids which was fun for the both of us. I was helping lead the kids so I got a close up look. It was great.
