We finally made it home. YAHOO! As sad as I was to leave it is always nice to be in your own home and bed. But this trip was definitely the hardest to come home from. I have been really home sick for a while and this one did me in... I hate to say it but I am absolutely, positively ready to move back to Utah! Sorry AZ friends. :(
We had so much fun and were taken care of by both families so well.
The rest of our trip consisted of more fly fishing and golf for Greg. Parade of homes and friends visits for me and lots and lots of play/cuddle time for the kids. Alexa is such a character in Utah. So different than with her friends here. You can tell that she is just so happy to be around family and to have a lot of attention. She really had a great time. I don't know how I am going to entertain her like her grandparents and cousins did 24/7.
We went to luaus, weddings, lots of yummy restaurants, parks, lakes, pools and much more.
Thanks grandparents for loving our kids while we were there and taking care of them. It is always such a nice break to visit and be spoiled. The breaks from kids are always needed and appreciated. Thanks too for letting us destroy your homes, eat your food, use up your laundry detergent and be bums in your presence. It was so much fun! Pictures are a few posts below.
Oh yeah, the flight home... not worse than the way there. But, not any better either. Luckily she hadn't napped before so she screamed herself to sleep the 2nd 1/2. Greg consoled her this time, I didn't have the patience. He did a fabulous job and handled her WAY better than I did. Thank goodness for daddies.

Nik...I am so sorry that I didn't see your text message. I didn't realize you were in town until I talked to Mel and then later saw your e-mail and text message. I am so sad that I didn't get to see you and your cute kids. I even have Gavins present sitting here at my house. I will sent it tomorrow.
Love,
Tara
Looks like you guys had a great trip! I'm sorry about the plane trip. That doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Glad you are back!
I'll try not to be offended by all the wishful thinking about moving to Utah. Are we really that bad here in AZ?? :) Just kidding. I totally understand wanting to be near family. Makes a huge difference once you have kids.
Hey, thanks for the yummy cookies with the PINK bow! They were very scrumptious!!
Sounds like a fabulous trip, I love Utah, especially in the Summer.
The pictures you took of your parents with their grandkids are so good and I love the picture of your family at Gavin's blessing where he has the cutest smile on his face.
